Supply and Acceptance Highlights
- Old and new grade designations are cross-referenced on the mill test certificate：06Cr19Ni10 is the former grade 0Cr18Ni9 and corresponds to ASTM 304 — all three designations are listed side by side, so customers no longer need to look them up for customs clearance or design institute drawing review.
- Thickness 0.3–60 mm, width ≤ 2000 mm; cold-rolled 2B / BA, hot-rolled No.1, and surface-treated sheet available in HL / 8K / embossed.
- Mill test certificates can be issued to GB/T or simultaneously to EN 10204 3.1; third-party witnessed inspection (SGS / BV) can be arranged before shipment.
Frequently Asked Questions
The chemical composition is essentially identical, and the two can be supplied interchangeably. The difference lies in the basis of judgment: GB/T 3280 is judged under the Chinese standard, while ASTM A240 is judged under the American standard. Our mill test certificate lists both grades clearly to avoid rejection during customs clearance or drawing review.
We take the stricter value of the two (usually carbon content and mechanical properties) and list both standard numbers on the mill test certificate. This way one shipment can satisfy acceptance in both markets.
